About Me

Hello, I'm Marcel Kazemi, a Medieninformatik student at HSD Düsseldorf with a strong passion for 3D art and computer graphics. I've been working with 3D design since I was a kid, starting with Cinema4D, and over the years, I've transitioned to using Unreal Engine and Blender. As a 3D generalist, I use any tool that fits the job, whether that's Marvelous Designer for cloth simulations, DaVinci Resolve for color grading, or After Effects for compositing.
My journey into programming began as a way to create custom tools for my 3D projects, which allowed me to streamline my workflow. Through this process, I’ve gained valuable technical skills and a better understanding of how to bridge the gap between art and software development.
Currently, I'm focused on expanding my knowledge of computer graphics. One of my key projects, UniversalUmap, is a 3D model exporting desktop application with an integrated 3D preview. This project has helped me gain a deeper understanding of the real time rendering pipeline and the optimization techniques needed for high performance rendering.
I'm always eager to grow as both a 3D artist and developer, and I'm looking forward to continuing my journey in computer graphics while constantly improving my skills and knowledge in the field.
