About Me

Hi, I'm Marcel. I’ve been fascinated by 3D art and graphics since I was a kid, starting out with Cinema4D before switching to Blender, Unreal Engine, and other tools. I enjoy working on shaders, realistic renders, and creating custom tools for my own pipeline.
I got into software development to build these tools and have developed a strong passion for real-time graphics, C++, and working with graphics APIs like Vulkan.
I’m currently studying Medieninformatik (BS) at HSD Düsseldorf, taking Computer Graphics classes to deepen my knowledge. In my free time, I’m working on my own GPU path tracer, NoorRay, and other graphics projects, experimenting with both real-time and offline rendering.
I’m always trying to learn more and combine art with technology in ways that are both fun and challenging.
